The Massachusetts State Society Annual Meeting was held in March 2016 at the Colonel Timothy Bigelow Chapter DAR House in Worcester, MA.

A delicious pot-luck lunch was enjoyed by all in the "Oaks" dining room.  State Society members and guests were given a tour of the historic 18th century house afterwards.

DAR Chapter Regent Linda Munroe Hart gave us a narrative tour of the Oaks DAR House.

These two pictures are of the Oaks Library which is on the first floor.

Regent Hart explained that every space was utilized in the library and pointed to the hidden book closets.

DAR Regent Hart described the early years of Colonial Timothy Bigelow DAR Chapter.

The  women  held teas to help support the house and "sewing circles" where items were made for veterans and reenactments.
